the expansion of X-Wing is a beautiful addition to a fun game. as noted in my other reviews by this line, you can play some simple games and it was worth it with the base set, but if you want to get the most out of the game variety you'll need some expansions. because the X-Wing also comes the basic set (which is required to play), you don't need to get this expansion set to exploit the game to 100%. but, there are some additions, so I'd say it's probably worth
